Turning it over to the wedding gods
OK OK, I'm doing it. I've said it over and over again that I wouldn't but I have decided to give into the wedding gods. I am making an official announcement here and now. Starting from this moment on, I will shooting weddings. Here's how it will work. My rates will be based on how many hours I work. I will shoot and shoot and shoot. When I'm done, I return to home, retouch, color correct and make the bride and everyone else look fabulous, burn your entire day to CD ROM and that's it. You get all your images free and clear. I feel that in this day and age, so many people spend a fortune just getting the photographer to shoot the wedding and that's all they do. They just shoot it. Then you have to spend countless hours looking over proofs, trying to make decisions and then you STILL have to pay for the proofs and the final prints. By hiring me, you get your disks/images and you are free to print at your leisure when ever and where ever you want. You can upload to any site you want. The images are your to own. I mean, what am I going to do with them besides use then as promotional stuff for my site and cards (with the couples permission, of course) I'm also desperate to do gay and lesbian weddings so if you know of anyone, please pass my name around.
