The Maine Point....Carly and Brian sunny wedding day!

Just when I get a chance to come up for air, I realized that I haven’t blogged in what seems like forever. So I have to go way back…. to the summer and start looking at what I have created with my amazing couples. I will start off with Carly and Brian. I met them early on in my “ok, I’m gonna open up the biz to weddings” days. They took a chance and boy was I happy. We did their engagement session in the early spring and I got to know them. They warned me that they love to have a good time and that the wedding would be “nuts”. Right they were…in a great way. Singing, dancing and even a Goof Booth™, which I blog in the next entry. They were married at the York Harbor Inn in York Maine, which I must add is a fantastic location for sure.

I have to say, the best part of the day was Carly’s laid back attitude about the weather. It was really nasty out but she believed that it would all work out, and it did. During their first look it was misty but by the time we headed over to the bluff where the ceremony was to take place, the sun came out! It shone down on them for just enough time to get through the formals and as we walked back into the venue for the festivities, the clouds returned and the rain started up again. The angels must be watching out for them.  And believe me, if you knew them, you would believe that too!
